If you now visit this section I think that it is pretty clear that you know that Christopher (or "Loffe" as we call him) is no longer a part of Planets Align. The reasons are many and I personally feel that I want to bring this statement to you all. Loffe's statement was that he did not have the time nor the strength to continue in the band. For the rest of us in the band and for the closest people around us - We know that its nothing else but complete bullshit! And thats one of the reasons to why I want to write this small "letter" to you all out there. I do not think that the rest of the band disagree about my thoughts and opinions, but this is completely my statement regarding Loffe's decision to leave the band and none elses.

I feel that the support on the gig this saturday was so huge so that I have to give an explanation. I know that everyone (including us) was satisfied with the performance of the band generally, as well as Loffe's vocals. For thoose who already knew that he was going to leave I felt somewhat of a dissappointment with that, and I heared people almost asking him to stay. The purpose with this text is to explain to you all that it is not as simple as that....

The problems have been many and it have been going on for quite some time. The opinions about his presence in the band is quite generic between the rest of us. He have basically just not met the standard that the rest of us have. So its not that he didnt manage to plan his time, its just that he did not have the capabillity to adapt to us and our structure. We gave him serveral chances. And even though that we had several discussions on this topic, we came to the conclution that Christopher have to leave the band.

Now things have been going to far. So even though that he did a good job - When he did a job (which is almost... never) - This wouldnt work out! We are already working as hell with material for the new record and we have been looking for a new vocalist for some weeks now. So if everything turns out as planned we might have a new vocalist soon and a record done by summer 2010. If you read this and feel that you could match our demands, just contact us and we will move on from there.
