As mentioned above, welcome to planetsalign.net. We are a pretty new metal band from the south of Sweden. But as every other band says, we are trying to do out of the ordinary. The other ones dont live up to that quote. We think that we do that! We dont care about the borders of music genres. As long as it sounds good it can be "Planets Align". The foundation will always be metal, but there will always be other things involved. Planets Align - Metal with modification, to tell it differently!

For the moment we are unsigned and making all the work on our own - The website, the music (playing and production), the photos and everything else. Of course, its not that we're not looking for a label. But the time have to be right! The new demo of ours will hopefully give us some contacts. To get more information about our music, just check the band section, the tour section and yeah... everything else!

Hopefully you will find our music good and inspiring. If you have anything positive (or negative for that matter) to say, feel free to contact the band both via the guestbook as well as via mail. We are trying to answer all the messages we get so... go ahead! Enjoy!

Due to some misunderstandings together with the owner of the studio that we planned to enter today, we had to cancel the recording of the drums... which is quite sad. But we have an alternative solution to this. This means that we cant start at the moment, but as soon as we are ready we will start. It will hopefully be within 1 - 2 wekks.

It was quite some time since the last update. On the upcoming Monday (the 12th) we will start the recording of our new album. Just so that you know. More info will come up later on.

We have now finished the cutting of the band part to our new music video. All effects and such have also been added. And yeah... we are extremely satisfied. So now we just have some chapters left to shoot before we are done with the new video. Some images will be posted soon... Stay tuned!

A new image-gallery have been added. Its from Linköping Metal Massacre 2010. Some peoeple from the audiance have filmed a bit from the concert as well. We have gained the raw video, edited the sound a bit and such... So yeah, soon there will be a really awsome YouTube upload of our track called "Carved in Stone" as well!

Time for some updates now then! It was quite some time since we actually gave you any bigger updates about whats happening with the band. So here we go...

As it is now, we have once and for all decided not to do any more gigs or so with Christopher on vocals. Robin have rehearsed the vocals for some tracks. So we might do some gigs, but it will not be as before. Mainly we will not do any gigs until we have a new vocalist though.

But we do not just stand in the rehearsal room doing nothing these days. We are actually planning to shoot a new video (that will become motherfucking awsome!) in the upcoming weeks. More information on this will be revealed later. A more detailed diary will be posted in the band blog as well.

Besides that we have also been working on some stuff for the next recording of ours. We do not have any dates or so yet. But it looks as it will take until the end of the year before its completely done. More detailed dates will be revealed later on though.

Coverarts, rough setlists and other general planning have been done though. We are really looking forward to this. It will become a kickass record! ;)
